España ha incorporado a la CE un importante sector de grasas vegetales que, esquemáticamente, podríamos delinear en base a unas producciones de aceite de oliva virgen de 485.000 toneladas por campaña, unas 900.000 toneladas anuales de grano de girasol, y cantidades muy inferiores de aceites de orujo y de granos de colza y de soja.
